Rescue Source December 2023 Photo Contest begins December 1, 2023, and ends December 20, 2023, at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time. By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest.

Prize:

The winner of this photo contest is decided by vote count. The photograph with the highest vote count by December 20, 2023 at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time will officially be declared the winner.

Who may enter:

The contest is open to the public and available to anyone who desires to submit a photograph of rescue equipment being used in training or rescue situations. There is no cost to enter this contest.

What to enter:

To be eligible for any category, a photograph must have been shot by the entrant or an affiliate of the entrant. The contestant certifies that he/she is the sole creator and copyright owner of the submitted photograph. Photos must adhere to at least 300 DPI quality to be considered. Multiply intended print size by resolution; e.g. an image to be printed as 6” W x 4” H would be 1800 x 1200 pixels. Cropped photos are eligible in all categories. Minor adjustments, including the removal of sensor dust or scratches on scans of negatives, dodging and burning, sharpening, contrast, toning, slight color adjustment and conversion to grayscale are acceptable for all categories. For a photo in which a person is recognizable, you must agree to that person’s face being used for future marketing campaigns for Rescue Source. By submitting a photograph to the Rescue Source 2023 December photo contest, you transfer the marketing rights and ownership of the photograph to Rescue Source. If the entrant is unable to provide all required releases, Rescue Source in its sole discretion reserves the right to disqualify the submission, seek to secure the required releases, or permit the submission to remain in the contest. Photos must be taken in accordance with federal, state and local laws. Photos that violate or infringe upon another person’s rights, including but not limited to copyright, are not eligible. Photos that contain sexually explicit, nude, obscene, violent or other objectionable or inappropriate content, as determined by Rescue Source in its sole discretion, are ineligible for all categories of this contest.
