Rescue Solutions HD Hitch Support

The High Directional Hitch Support was designed and developed by Rescue Solutions CEO Ron Roysum to facilitate over-the-bank rescues along Highway 101. When mounted to the hitch of a vehicle, this device provides a secure mounting point and rigging plate for the Arizona Vortex or Terradapter.

Product Specifications

• Fits a standard 2” receiver hitch

• The High Directional Hitch Support complies with NFPA 1983, 2017 (Other Auxiliary Equipment)

• Pull testing on the anchor plate yielded an average breaking strength of 90kN

• Pull testing on the foot support yielded an average of 70kN

• The HD Hitch Support is designed for compression loads from the multi-pod. If the rear leg of the High Directional is to be in tension, the multi-pod should be guyed back to the HDHS anchor plate
